What’s in Your Water?

Fresh water has always been the bedrock upon which most civilizations have flourished and thrived, however, today people don’t think much about where their water is coming from.  Nonetheless, one of the most important things you could do for your health is to drink the best water possible.

Spring-water

Leaders in the holistic wellness arena such as David Wolfe or Daniel Vitalis believe that spring water is the best for you and for a good reason.  Spring water holds a high vibration and is crystalline in its structure.  It takes on the vibration and energy of that which it is around, connecting us to the consciousness of nature and harmonizing our body’s systems.   Water coming deep from within the ground is very different from our local municipal water source.  Many people don’t realize that most brands of bottled drinking water are actually tap water in fancy packaging!

Until recently in our history, people not only had wonderful spring water to drink, but also used it for cooking, irrigation and bathing.  Spring water comes from far underneath the ground protected from pollution of any sort.  In addition to the water, most of the food eaten was sourced directly from the surrounding environment.  This contributed to a consciousness of unity, and holistic synergy between the people and the land.  There was a connection, a reverence, and a sense of community.

Today, most governments treat public water (tap water) with many different chemicals to get it to a fairly neutral ph.

Here are a few common things found in tap water:

  • Pharmaceutical Drugs
  • Chlorine – Destroys the arteries and causes scarring inside the body. It also messes with the friendly bacteria in the body.
  • Fluroide- lethal and toxic drug that is really dangerous to the entire body especially the pineal gland.
  • Arsenic
  • Lead
  • Cadmium
  • Mercury
  • Sex Hormones
  • Flame Retardants
  • Herbicides
  • Pesticides

This list could go on, but you get the idea that tap water can contain some nasty chemicals and toxins.  A small filter like a brita or a two stage filter is not enough to get the contaminants out of the water.  And like I mentioned earlier, bottled water is mostly just tap water. Furthermore, the plastic from most water bottles could manipulate your body chemistry and hormone levels producing estrogen like compounds which may be hazardous to your health.

It’s a known fact that skin absorbs a lot of what it comes in contact with, especially when your pores are open during a warm bath or shower.  In addition to being careful about the water you drink, getting a whole house filter system from a reputable company to make sure you limit your toxic exposure is also a good idea.  This may be a little costly, but is one of the most important things you can do for your health.  Bathing in tap water on a daily basis could be building high amounts of toxicity in your body over an extended period of time.  A simple and cost effective alternative is to have a high quality filter put on your shower head (like the Omica’s shower filter) available online.

Spring water, which is pure, living, structured water contributes to cellular integrity, longevity and a healthy mind, body and soul.  On the other hand Tap Water contributes to disease, rapid aging, unhealthy skin and the list goes on.  Our bodies are around 60% water, and it is said when you drink 5 gallons of spring water over the course of 1 week all of the fluid in your body is renewed.  This means that it’s never too late to start transforming your health!

Remember that water holds the vibration and frequency of what it is exposed to.  Reading Masaru Emoto’s amazing books  “The Hidden Messages in Water,” and “The Secret Life of Water”  will give you a deeper understanding of the extent of this phenomenon.  He will demonstrate how the crystalline structure of water can change and be affected not only by the words spoken around it, but also the thoughts and sounds.  Imagine what significance this could have on entire communities and even the whole world.  Check out  Masaru Emoto’s video on YouTube which shows how water can change:

In the mean time, source the best spring water you can get your hands on (try findaspring.com) and if you can’t get it in glass, make sure the plastic bottles are at least BPA free.  Stay hydrated, healthy and happy!
