Chocolate Tart
This chocolate tart is a lot more nutritious than your average Sara Lee – but every bit as tasty!

Makes one 8 inch tart
Ingredients:
For the base:
- 1 cup raw almonds
- 1 cup raw walnuts
- 1/4 cup cacao powder
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup dates
For the filling:
- 2 avocados
- 1/2 cup raw cacao powder
- 1/2 cup virgin coconut oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract or 1 vanilla bean scraped
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 2/3 cup maple syrup
Topping:
- Fresh raspberries (optional)
- Or a dusting of cacao powder
Blend the filling ingredients together in a food processor until smooth and creamy. Pour over the base and freeze for at least 2 hours. Garnish with raspberries or a dusting of
cacao powder before serving.
